Accountant

**Duties:** Consist of, include, but are not limited to: a) Direction and Supervision of Company Accounting Related Functions. b) Compilation and Review of Financial Statements and Related Schedules c) Review and Correction (if needed) of Sage Account Postings d) Reconciliation of Bank Accounts e) Reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts f) Record General Journal Entries g) Maintain Chart of Accounts h) Sales Tax Returns and Filing i) Fixed Asset / Depreciation Tracking and Recording j) Payroll Processing k) Payroll Tax Filing l) Machine billing and records retention m) Cash Receipts Posting, Including Remote Deposits n) Credit Card Payment Processing o) Accounts Payable Processing and Payments p) Accounting projects, schedules and tax forms as required q) Training and Supervising Accounting Assistant / Credit Administrator r) Training and Directing Office Staff in areas of: a. Proper Accounting Procedures b. Company Software (ie: Sage, Excel, etc.) s) Compilation and Reporting of State / Federal Government Surveys and Required Forms t) Compilation of Insurance Forms as Required u) General Office Duties a. Answering telephone, filing and assisting other Office Employees as needed.
