Job Description
**Administrator Assistant**
We are a family\-owned service company with nine locations throughout the United States. We are a stable business and did not lay anyone off during the pandemic. We are looking for a talented individual who will assist with the administrative operations of funeral home business. This is an integral role within our small administrative office – the team consists of two people including the manager. This is a full\-time position .

The Clerical Administrator will be responsible for a variety of office responsibilities including but not limited to: organization of accounts payable, collection/summarization of cash receipts, organization and inputting of contracts, weekly reporting, general office administration duties and some project work. Working directly with the Funeral Manager and assisting her as needed.
We are seeking a detail\-oriented professional who will update and maintain internal records by hand. We are looking for someone who has 3 to 5 year of administrative experience and has a track record of reliability, punctuality a history of good attendance. An individual with funeral industry experience will be an asset. It is also imperative that certain reports be completed and sent to head office on a timely basis once a week.
In addition, our Administrator must enjoy working with people, have effective communication skills when dealing with our customers and other employees, have experience in handling cash receipts and must be eligible for bonding.
Qualifications:
* a valid driver’s license is required and it must be in good standing;
* Good communication skills
* General office administration skills
* Familiarity with Windows Office software
* Experience with cash receipts
* Accounts Payable experience
* Must be eligible for bonding
* Legible handwriting
* Ability to work on Saturdays, as needed
* assist with the preparing the presentations in the funeral home or church;
* assist as a pallbearer when requested;
* assist family and guests in the funeral home, church or gravesite setting
Passare software experience or other account software experience is desired.
This job requires working with the office personnel and requires the ability to take direction.
