Bereavement Volunteer - Memory Bear Program
**Program Overview**

Bereavement volunteers in the Memory Bear Program create handmade keepsake bears from a loved one's clothing to provide comfort, connection, and a lasting remembrance for grieving families.
**Responsibilities**

* Create memory bears using donated clothing and provided materials.
* Handle sentimental items with professionalism, care, and respect.
* Follow established patterns, instructions, and quality guidelines when completing each project.
**Qualifications**

* Sewing experience is preferred, but not required.
* Demonstrates attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
* Shows compassion, sensitivity, and respect for families experiencing loss.
**Additional Information**

* All materials and project guidance are provided.
* Volunteer involvement is flexible and project-based.
