Care Center Coordinator

The Care Center Coordinator serves as assisting in the performance of duties for the embalming team as well as managing the daily activities. The coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the intake activities and requests that come in from the funeral home team. The Care Center Coordinator will also focus on optimizing resources and procurement needs while servicing the company's area funeral homes. **Essential Functions and Competencies** * Care for deceased in a respectful manner while performing a variety of tasks which include, removals and transfers, cosmetology, dressing, hairstyling, and any other preparation required for human remains * Adhere to all professional, municipal, state/provincial, and federal licensing authority regulations applicable to preparing human remains * Keep and maintain a log of all deceased in their care as well as those transferred from our care. * Promote a safe work environment be being aware of and practicing universal precautions and adopting general principles of safe conduct * Assist with maintenance of preparation room and the facility; receive and maintain inventory for caskets and other funeral home supplies * This job is **Exempt.** **Required Education and Experience** * Working knowledge of Care Center operations, processes, procedures, and standards * Knowledge of computers and software applications is required **AAP/EEO Statement** Equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, disability, gender identity, results of genetic testing, veterans and/or any other status or condition protected by law, except where a bona fide occupational qualification exists. 3848 \- Nevada
