Killeen Memorial Park is seeking a dependable, hardworking **Grounds Maintenance \& Cemetery Operations team member** to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the beauty and appearance of our cemetery grounds while assisting with daily cemetery operations and services.

Responsibilities

* Perform routine lawn and grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, weed control, and general landscaping
* Maintain flower beds, trees, shrubs, and other landscaped areas
* Assist with **interments and burial services**, including preparing gravesites and ensuring the area is properly maintained before and after services
* Install and set **memorials, markers, and monuments**
* Complete maintenance and grounds\-related **work orders** in a timely and professional manner
* Assist with cemetery property maintenance and improvements
* Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas
* Assist with setting up and cleaning areas for services and cemetery events
* Maintain a clean, respectful, and well\-kept appearance throughout the cemetery
* Follow all safety procedures and cemetery policies
* Work respectfully around families and guests during times of loss

Qualifications

* Previous experience in **lawn care, landscaping, grounds maintenance, construction, cemetery operations, or a related field is preferred**
* Ability to operate lawn and grounds maintenance equipment
* Comfortable performing physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods
* Ability to follow instructions and complete work orders accurately
* Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* A respectful, professional attitude is essential when working around grieving families
