Cemetery Grounds Manager

**Responsibilities:** * Oversee and schedule all aspects of grounds and building maintenance, burial preparation and scheduling, landscaping for the cemetery * Maintain equipment, tools, vehicles for the property * Train on safety programs such as OSHA, PPE, lock out/tag out procedures * Supervise and direct the full time, seasonal and summer workers to be sure tasks are carried out to company standards, within appropriate timelines and completed safely * Manage the use and storage of equipment and supplies * Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all grounds, buildings, equipment and vehicles **Qualifications:** * Strong management and organizational skills * Excellent communication skills * Experience with computers and technology * Mechanical experience * Must be physically able to stand 8 hours, lift a minimum of 30 \#, twist, climb. * Backhoe experience * Landscaping and tree maintenance experience * Administrative skills to handle paperwork, record keeping, and reporting related to grounds management activities * Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices for effective planning and execution of maintenance activities * Positive attitude with a willingness for continuous improvement, growth and learning * Must be physically able to stand 8 hours, lift a minimum of 30 \#, twist, climb * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed for burial services and Memorial Day preparation
