Cemetery Groundskeeper - SEASONAL

**Job Summary** Join our team as a Seasonal Cemetery Groundskeeper and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and dignity of our cemetery grounds. This seasonal role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a meaningful community space while honing your landscaping expertise. **Duties** * Perform routine landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and planting to maintain clean, attractive grounds * Safely operate hand and power tools for pruning, aerating, edging, and general landscape maintenance * Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns, plants, and flower beds * Keep grounds free of debris by raking leaves, removing trash, and maintaining safe walkways * Perform grave excavation as required * Monument and marker setting * Burial functions (opening/closing for interments, entombments, inurnments, disinterment) **Experience** * Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates * Familiarity with irrigation systems and basic lawn care techniques is a plus * Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows confidently * Strong work ethic with attention to detail in outdoor maintenance tasks * Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards * Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods Pay: $17\.13 \- $18\.00 per hour Work Location: In person
