Willingness to learn and eventually prepare gravesites. **Responsibilities** * Maintain the overall appearance of the cemetery grounds through landscaping, mowing, trimming, and planting. * Operate power tools and hand tools safely to perform tasks such as edging, pruning, and debris removal. * Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns, flower beds, and trees. * Conduct routine landscape maintenance including fertilizing, aerating, and weed control. * Perform general groundskeeping duties such as litter pickup, pathway cleaning, and grave site upkeep. * All plantings weeded and fertilized and any horticultural activities to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the grounds. * Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any repairs needed promptly. **Requirements** * Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred. * Knowledge of horticulture practices and plant care techniques. * Ability to operate lawn mowers, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems safely. * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance. * Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions. * Excellent teamwork skills with a respectful attitude towards visitors and colleagues. * Basic understanding of landscaping principles including lawn care, gardening, and land management.
