Cemetery Groundskeeper

**Job Summary** We are seeking a dedicated and respectful Cemetery Groundskeeper to help maintain the beauty, cleanliness, and tranquility of our grounds. This role is essential in ensuring that visitors experience a well\-kept environment where they can honor and remember loved ones. **Responsibilities** * Maintain cemetery lawns, gardens, and landscaping (mowing, trimming, planting, watering). * Assists with repairs and maintains equipment, buildings and fixtures * Other duties as requested by the Upper Lake Cemetery District Board or District Superintendent * Prepare gravesites for burials, including digging and site setup * Assist during burial services with professionalism and respect * Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools Qualifications: * Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience preferred * Ability to operate lawn care and light machinery safely * Physically able to lift, bend, dig, and work outdoors in various weather conditions * Strong attention to detail and respect for sensitive environments * Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Work Environment: This position involves working outdoors in a quiet, respectful setting.
