Cemetery Groundsworker (seasonal)

Mount Thabor Catholic Cemetery at 2138 Shopiere Rd in Beloit has an opening for a seasonal groundsworker. Seasonal positions are from mid\-April through late November of each year. Join our friendly and professional staff to keep our grounds beautiful and serve our families well. Staff members mow and trim cemetery grounds, trim trees and shrubs, and perform other general maintenance and grounds work throughout the cemetery. Seasonal employees may occasionally assist regular employees with burials. Applicants must be able to work outdoors in all weather, operate commercial mowing and trimming equipment throughout the day, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance. 40 hours per week, Monday\-Friday. A reduced schedule (2\-3 days/week) may also be possible. Seasonal workers may be considered for an offer of regular full time employment with benefits, depending on staffing needs. Background checks, including driver license checks, are required for all positions.
