Cemetery Landscaping/Groundskeeper/ Maintenance

**Job Summary** Join our team as a Cemetery Landscaping, Groundskeeper, and Maintenance Specialist, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, dignity, and serenity of our cemetery grounds. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, landscape care, and ensuring all grounds are kept in excellent condition. **Responsibilities** * Maintain and enhance the appearance of cemetery grounds through landscaping, gardening, and lawn care activities * Operate hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently for trimming, mowing, planting, and general upkeep * Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and grass areas * Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify areas needing repair or attention * Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance * Assist with the planting of new trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping features in accordance with cemetery standards * Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including irrigation schedules and landscaping projects **Requirements** * Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture preferred * Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and landscape upkeep best practices * Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively * Strong understanding of horticulture principles and plant care * Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods * Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a respectful environment * Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Join us in creating tranquil spaces that honor memories while fostering peace for visitors.
