**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced **Cemetery Operations Supervisor** to oversee daily cemetery operations in McDonough, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, hands\-on experience with cemetery management, and the ability to coordinate and execute burial services efficiently and respectfully.

**Key Responsibilities**
------------------------

* Supervise and lead cemetery staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Operate and oversee the use of heavy equipment, including backhoes, for grave digging and site preparation.
* Plan, coordinate, and prepare for burial services in collaboration with families, funeral homes, and vendors.
* Maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
* Oversee landscape maintenance to preserve the appearance and safety of the cemetery grounds.
* Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to cemetery operations.
* Manage inventory and supplies related to cemetery operations and maintenance.
* Respond to inquiries and provide excellent customer service to families and visitors.

**Qualifications**
------------------

* Proven supervisory experience, preferably in cemetery operations or a related field.
* Experience operating backhoes and other heavy equipment.
* Strong knowledge of cemetery operations, including burial service planning and preparation.
* Ability to manage vendor relations effectively.
* Experience with landscape maintenance and groundskeeping.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work respectfully and compassionately with grieving families.
* Valid driver’s license and ability to operate cemetery vehicles and equipment safely.
