Cemetery Services Lead (Working Field Leader)

**Lead From the Field.** We are seeking a hands\-on Cemetery Services Lead who thrives in both physical work and operational leadership. This is a working lead position — approximately 75% field installation and delivery, and 25% routing, coordination, safety, and fleet oversight. This role is ideal for someone who: · Enjoys working outdoors and operating equipment · Has experience leading drivers or field crews · Understands routing, logistics, and schedule coordination · Takes pride in precision, safety, and execution · Is mechanically inclined and detail\-oriented You will lead by example — actively delivering and installing granite memorials while overseeing routing efficiency, driver skills development, fleet maintenance coordination, and cemetery relationships. **What You’ll Do** **Field Leadership \& Installation** · Deliver and install granite memorials including flat markers, monuments, slants, and specialty pieces · Verify products against order documents before installation · Safely operate lifting equipment (cranes, carts, slings, hooks) · Load and secure materials for transport · Perform on\-site sandblast final date lettering with precision · Photograph and document completed installations · Assist with Special Project installations as needed **Team Development** · Train and develop Drivers skills through hands\-on coaching · Reinforce and enhance safety procedures · Establish response plans for common on\-site challenges · Support accountability and continuous improvement **Routing \& Operational Coordination** · Plan and adjust delivery routes for efficiency and weather considerations · Coordinate schedules to meet quoted installation timelines · Communicate proactively with internal departments regarding delays or risks · Participate in leadership meetings and report operational updates **Fleet \& Safety Oversight** · Track vehicle maintenance and service schedules · Maintain inspection logs and incident documentation · Identify mechanical concerns and escalate appropriately **Cemetery \& Account Relations** · Maintain professional working relationships with cemetery partners · Coordinate ETAs and manage on\-site expectations · Ensure installations meet both company and cemetery standards **Administrative \& Accountability** · Manage company credit card receipts and documentation · Maintain accurate scheduling, vehicle, and incident records **What You Bring** · Experience leading drivers, installers, or field teams · Strong organizational and routing/logistics skills · Mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle maintenance basics · Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor consistently · Strong communication skills across departments and external partners · Safety\-first mindset · Valid driver’s license Experience in monuments, construction, heavy materials, or specialty installation industries is highly valued — but we are willing to train the right operational leader. **What This Role Is Not** This is not a desk\-only logistics role.
