The chaplain is specifically responsible for the provision of spiritual care as indicated in each patient’s plan of care. This position is included as part of the interdisciplinary team. Spiritual care services are provided directly through coordination with other team members or by community chaplains or other spiritual counselors. **The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Requirements:** + Certificate/degree from an accredited institution in the field of Pastoral Care or Theology (Master of Divinity preferred). + Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) training (one unit minimum, four units preferred). + Ordination to function in a ministry of pastoral care by appropriate religious authority.
