We hope you feel the same way once you experience what it is like to work here..... **Journey Hospice has a rewarding and fulfilling position for a per diem (as needed) Chaplain to serve our clients in Cape May and Ocean Counties. This position offers $30\.00 per hour..** Responsible for the provision of non\-denominational spiritual care services to patients, families, significant others and/or caregivers. The services are provided either directly or through coordination of care with other spiritual counselors that may include community clergy. Basic Qualifications **Education/Training/Certifications:** Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of theology required. Clinical pastoral education training: with a minimum of 2 to 4 CPE credits obtained from an accredited program preferred. Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with NJ requirements. **Skill(s):** **Skills and Knowledge:** * Must maintain a professional attitude and demeanor and is able to communicate effectively and relate courteously and cooperatively with patients, caregivers, colleagues, supervisors and co\-workers and all others. * Must be able to demonstrate optimism, enthusiasm and willingness to work constructively with other healthcare team members and reflect concern for the well\-being of patients and employees. * Interacts with all staff in a positive and motivational fashion supporting the mission and vision of the organization. **Experience:** * Training/Experience dealing with grief and bereavement counseling. * Minimum one year experience in providing ecumenical approach in pastoral care and client/family counseling. * Experience in home health or hospice preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to be able to work within a multidisciplinary team LSMNJ is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
