CSH Chaplain

**Job Description:**

* Provides on-going religious and spiritual assessment, interventions and evaluation as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
* Conducts individual, group and family pastoral care and counseling.
* Provides and documents consultation to treatment teams on issues of religious concern and spiritual care for patients.
* Provides pastoral care for employees as requested.
* Plans and conducts hospital worship, holiday, special occasion, funeral and memorial services and liturgies.
* Provides consultation on ethics and patient rights to patients, treatment teams and hospital management.
* Liaison with community religious groups, agencies and institutions to coordinate religious care of patients, religious volunteer services , and special programming or service needs for patients.

**REQUIREMENTS**
----------------

* Graduate of an accredited theological or divinity school with a master's or doctorate degree in divinity, theology or related field.
* Ordination and/or denominational or ecclesiastical endorsement.
* At least two units of Clinical Pastoral Education, one of which is accomplished in a psychiatric setting.
* Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
