This position serves as the primary point of contact for families and vets and is responsible for a wide variety of client\-facing activities within the day\-to\-day management of our operation. **Essential Functions** * Displays strong customer service skills while responding to inbound telephone inquiries regarding our services, costs and procedures. * Acts with empathy and displays active listening skills while assisting client families in person or over the phone with selecting cremation services and memorial products. * Completes all documentation and records thoroughly and correctly in computer software and/or on paper to ensure accuracy of memorial arrangements per family requests. * Maintains appropriate chain of custody documentation, ensuring accurate identification and tracking of remains while in company care. * Provides key input into our processes to ensure quality care, client satisfaction and company profitability. * Follows all safety protocols and ensures the work area is tidy, clean and organized at all times. * Meets or exceeds all deadlines and customer service expectations. * Participates in staff meetings and offers suggestions to improve family satisfaction, product and service offerings and profitability of the company. * Additional duties as assigned. **Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements** * Experience with very high call volume and multi\-line phone systems. * Experience in pet crematory, funeral home or related industry highly desirable. * Must have good typing skills and experience working on computers in Microsoft operating system. * Must be detail\-oriented and able to complete work in a timely, competent and thorough manner. * Must be self\-motivated with excellent time management. * Ability to demonstrate our core values of respect, transparency, service excellence, and accountability.
