**Job Summary**
The Cashier/Customer Service Representative serves as a compassionate first point of contact for families, handling payments, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records with discretion. This role provides attentive support by answering inquiries, guiding clients through services, and ensuring a respectful, professional experience during sensitive times. The position requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to manage confidential information with care. Additionally, the representative assists with administrative tasks to support daily operations and uphold the funeral home’s standards of service
**Responsibilities**
* Operate Cash Register and close out Reports.
* Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with professionalism and attention to detail
* Provide excellent and compassionate phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers
* Assist Administrative positions
**Experience**
* Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
* Bilingual skills are advantageous to serve a diverse customer base effectively
* Strong communication skills with a professional phone etiquette background
* Working in a fast paced environment and attention to detail
