Your responsibility will span the entire sales lifecycle—from prospecting, cultivating relationships and qualifying leads to acting as a trusted advisor, crafting custom solutions, and closing high\-value opportunities. **How You’ll be Rewarded:** * **Batesville is a family.** You will be part of a family of highly committed associates who are passionate about our company, committed to our customers and excited about our future. * The expected base salary range for this role is $140,000\-$170,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location. * IMMEDIATE ELIGIBILITY – Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as prescription coverage, short\-term disability, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and more. * Generous 401K Matching Program * Paid time off * Opportunities for development and advancement **What You’ll Do:** * **Strategic Prospecting:** identify long\-term growth opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and optimizing the initial stages of the sales pipeline * **Consultative Selling:** Lead in\-depth discovery meetings (hybrid: virtually or in\-person) to uncover client gaps, barriers, business risks, and operational goals * **Customized Solutions:** Design, create and present compelling, value\-driven proposals and partnership agreements that clearly communicate value * **Analyze Industry Trends**: Monitor shifts in the market, consumer behavior, and competitive shifts to find untapped niches * **Nurture Strategic Alliances**: Build long\-term trust with decision\-makers, setting the stage for short\-, mid\- and long\-term growth opportunities * **Negotiate deals**: Guide the customer through our value proposition, overcoming objections while protecting company profitability creating a “Win\-Win” for all parties * **Pipeline Management:** In tandem with the sales team, diligently track interactions, follow\-ups, and deal stages using the corporate CRM platform to ensure accurate sales forecasting * Follow all company policies/practices * Other duties may be assigned **What You’ll Bring:** * Bachelor’s degree (B.S. /B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university * Minimum of three years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience * Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; a natural storyteller who builds consensus quickly. * Hunter Mentality and powerful desire to win * Action / Result Oriented * Analytical Thinker / Process Oriented * Ability to target and select appropriate accounts for account management and pipeline management. * Ability to develop relationships at the C level quickly * Effective communication, active listening, presentation, and negotiation skills * Ability to navigate contract management * Strong financial background and ability quantify value added items on a ledger sheet * Ability to mentor others **Travel** Associate must be able to travel 75 % of the time. **Physical Requirements:** To perform this job successfully, the physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee.
