Driver - Funeral Services & Support, Thursday & Friday and e/o weekend

Washburn\-McReavy Funeral Chapels, Cemeteries, and Cremation Services — a trusted provider serving the Twin Cities for more than 165 years — is seeking personable, compassionate professionals to join our team as part\-time **Drivers – Funeral Services and Support \- Thursday \& Friday, and every/other weekend**, possible hours earlier in the week based on need. These positions work out of our main facility in Uptown Minneapolis (23rd Street \& Dupont Avenue South). Drivers are an essential part of the care and service we offer to families during times of grief. In this role, you will transport casketed decedents, urns, floral arrangements, and other service materials to chapels, churches, and cemeteries. You will also assist Funeral Directors and chapel staff with visitations and funeral services, ensuring a calm and respectful presence throughout. In addition, Drivers support operational flow by traveling between metro locations to courier correspondence, supplies, cremated remains, and other materials — helping maintain seamless communication with our main facility. The schedule is flexible. Drivers share their availability with the Scheduling team and are encouraged to assist on busier days, especially Thursdays and Fridays. The workday typically begins at 6:30 a.m.; shifts may be 4, 6, or 8 hours depending on need, with occasional late\-start days that extend into the evening, as well as opportunities to assist with weekend services. This is not a fixed\-schedule position; hours vary week to week based on service needs. Washburn\-McReavy provides Drivers with a navy\-blue two\-piece suit, three\-season overcoat, and company\-standard necktie. Employees are asked to supply a white dress shirt and black dress shoes. As a traditional funeral service organization, we uphold a professional appearance standard. Employees are expected to maintain a neat, conservative presentation that reflects the dignity of our work. Visible tattoos, unconventional hairstyles or colors, and multiple facial piercings are not permitted while representing the company.
