EDRS Clerk

We are seeking a reliable, detail\-oriented EDRS Clerk to support our funeral home team by processing death certificate information and related records through California’s Electronic Death Registration System (EDRS). Responsibilities: * Prepare and submit death records in EDRS * Verify demographic and legal information * Coordinate with funeral directors, hospitals, physicians, coroners, and county offices * Track pending signatures and incomplete records * Maintain accurate, confidential files * Assist with permits and other administrative duties Qualifications: * Experience with California EDRS preferred * Strong administrative and computer skills * Excellent attention to detail * Professional, compassionate communication skills * Funeral home, medical records, or vital records experience preferred We are looking for someone dependable, organized, and able to work accurately in a sensitive, fast\-paced environment.
