Embalmer and Funeral Director

Job title: Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer

Coleman Funeral Home is looking for a licensed funeral director and embalmer to join our team.

We're a family-owned funeral home serving Lafayette County and Desoto County for over 20 years.

What you'd be doing:

- Directing funeral and memorial services, from first call to final disposition

- Embalming, preparation, and restorative care - we do all our own prep.

- Meeting with families to arrange services.

- Sharing the on-call rotation.

- Occasional support at our other locations when there is need, working as a true team player.

What we're looking for:

- Mississippi funeral director and embalmer license (Tennessee license is a strong plus, we serve families across the state line).

- Someone trustworthy, calm, organized, and genuine.

- Comfortable with arrangement conferences and at-need care, not just behind-the-scenes.

- A team player who takes pride in the work and the details.

- Recent funeral service graduates with licensure are welcome to apply. We will mentor the right person.
