We are seeking a skilled and dependable Contract Embalmer to support our growing operations. Position Overview We are looking for a licensed embalmer to perform embalming and restorative work on an as\-needed basis. This role is ideal for a professional seeking flexible, contract\-based work with consistent case volume. Key Responsibilities * Perform embalming in accordance with all state and federal regulations * Complete restorative art and cosmetic work as needed * Handle autopsy and trauma cases with professionalism and care * Maintain proper documentation and case records * Ensure preparation room cleanliness and sanitation standards * Communicate effectively with funeral directors and staff * Be available for occasional after\-hours or weekend cases Qualifications * Active North Carolina Embalmer License (required) * Minimum 1–2 years of embalming experience preferred * Experience with autopsy and restorative cases is a plus * Strong attention to detail and professionalism * Ability to work independently and efficiently * Reliable transportation Job Type: Contract Pay: $2,000\.00 \- $5,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Flexible schedule Experience: * Funeral Service: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: * Licensed Embalmer (Preferred) Work Location: In person
