NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Embalmer to join our team at **Sunset Funeral Services**. Our employees find solace in the sacred duty of preserving the dignity of the deceased. As integral members of our community, Embalmers at NorthStar ensure families are comforted in seeing their loved ones at peace, embodying our commitment to compassion and reverence. **Responsibilities** * Complete embalming, disinfecting, dressing, preparing, and casketing of the deceased using appropriate precautions and OSHA standards in a manner that honors the deceased * Completes detailed embalming reports and logs, records all chemicals and techniques used, and ensures full compliance with legal, health, and OSHA regulations. * Utilize PPE and strict infection\-control protocols, handles hazardous chemicals safely, and maintains a sterile work environment throughout all preparation procedures. * Coordinate with funeral directors, ensures the presentation reflects the family’s wishes, and upholds dignity and respect for the deceased throughout the entire preparation process **Qualifications** * Licensed Embalmer in Ohio or possess the ability to reciprocate. * Have excellent communication skills, integrity, and an innate passion for serving others. **Compensation** * $65,000K\-$85,000K total compensation with bonuses * Cellphone Allowance * $5,000 Sign On Bonus **Benefits** * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance * Health Savings Account (HSA) * Life Insurance * 401(k) with Employer Matching We are an equal\-opportunity employer.
