***Who We Are*** Kansas City’s premier third party mortuary company, specializing in the handling of the loved ones deceased, from place of passing to corresponding mortuary or medical examiner. ***Who You Are*** Self\-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented, able to work independently as well as with others, able to **compassionately communicate with families** on their worst day. **The highest level of ethics, integrity and professional appearance are a must.** Due to the sensitive nature of our profession, a suit and tie, or business wear equivalent, is worn at all times. ***What You Will Do*** Perform transfers of deceased from place of passing (i.e. accident scenes, nursing homes, hospitals and residences.) As this is a very 'hands on' vocation, it demands a **high level of physical fitness** **and mental fortitude**. Must be able to **lift at least 100 lbs on your own**. This is an 'on call' position, meaning you take possession of company vehicle during your shift and are **dispatched from the comfort of your own home.** Compensation is highly competitive, providing our employees the flexibility and resources to flourish. Must live in the KC Metro area. Company vehicle and all equipment provided while on call. ***Disclosure*** You are dispatched alongside law enforcement, thus **extensive background checks** are performed on all prospects during the interview process. MVR checks go back 5 yrs.** ***Job Type***: **Full\-time, part\-time\- 12 hr shifts.
