ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AIDE

**NATURE OF WORK** Fairfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Environmental Services Aide to join our Environmental Services team. EVS Aides play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This position supports FMH’s mission by ensuring all assigned areas meet hospital cleanliness standards and infection‑prevention requirements. The Environmental Services Aide cleans patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, and other assigned areas in accordance with departmental procedures and hospital objectives. This role uses cleaning tools and equipment such as mops, wringers, dusters, vacuums, and approved chemicals to perform tasks including dusting, waste removal, sanitizing surfaces, polishing fixtures, and maintaining floors.
