Facility Maintenance Handyperson

We are looking for a thorough Maintenance/Handyperson to join our team and take responsibility for preserving the good condition and functionality of the premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety, such as painting, HVAC installations\\ etc. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly while adhering to all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition. **Qualifications** * Two to five years of experience doing repairs, remodeling, or building maintenance * Valid Driver's License required (Minimum of Nine Years with Valid California Driver's License) * Have a strong background of skilled tradesperson experience and have proven communication skills with supervisors and co\-workers * Self\-motivated, thrive in fast\-moving environments, and able to manage time to meet deadlines effectively * Skilled tradesperson with 1\-3 years of experience in maintenance/repair and remodeling * Strong carpentry background preferred. * Proficiency in navigating tablet\-based technology * Team player who can work independently **Responsibilities** As a Facility Maintenance (Handyperson), you are a key member of our team responsible for quality repairs, remodeling, and building improvement projects Complete small to medium repairs, remodeling, and building improvement projects * Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs ) * Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed * Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc.) * Undertake activities of pest control * Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, etc.) **Skills** * Proven experience as a maintenance technician and carpenter preferred. * Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems * Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods * Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices * Manual dexterity and problem\-solving skills * Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed. * High school diploma or GED **Benefits** * Health insurance, dental insurance, vision plan, 401(k) match, life Insurance * Great working environment * Vacation * (7\) Paid Holidays * Sick Time * Floating Holiday * Employee Development * Employee Assistance Program DRUG TESTING POLICY Before beginning employment, all job applicants who receive a job offer will be required to voluntarily submit to a drug screening test conducted by a laboratory designated by Inglewood Park Cemetery.
