Flight Paramedic

**Role Overview:**
We are seeking a
**Flight Paramedic**
to provide advanced pre-hospital and intra-hospital emergency care during air transport operations. The role involves ensuring patient safety, delivering high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with safety standards and documentation requirements.


**Key Responsibilities**

* Complete and submit electronic patient care records promptly for each flight.
* Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
* Provide advanced life support care from initial contact through handoff at medical facilities.
* Maintain competency through ongoing training and education.
* Keep licensure, certifications, and safety documentation current.
* Operate and maintain emergency equipment and supplies.
* Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
* Participate in pre-mission briefings, debriefings, and safety procedures.
* Assist with pre-mission checklists and support pilot activities as needed.
* Ensure aircraft safety prior to liftoff and conduct safety briefings.
* Fill open or vacant shifts within the assigned area as directed.

**Qualifications & Skills**

* Minimum of three years’ experience in 911 or critical care settings.
* Current EMT-P license/certification in the relevant states.
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma; FP-C within 24 months of hire.
* Additional preferences include prior flight experience and instructor certifications.
