**Job Summary** As a Florist, your creativity and passion for floral artistry will bring beauty and joy to our customers’ lives. In this role, you will craft stunning floral arrangements along with funeral and cemetery pieces. The ability to take orders, assist customers with their floral needs, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a lively retail setting while supporting our commitment to quality and excellence. **Duties** * Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements for various occasions * Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related accessories to meet their specific needs and preferences * Maintain the floral display area by restocking flowers, arranging stock, and ensuring an attractive presentation * Operate point\-of\-sale (POS) systems for sales transactions, including cash handling * Manage inventory levels of flowers, plants, and supplies through organized stocking and merchandising practices **Requirements** * Proven experience in floral design or floral artistry, a strong portfolio of arrangements is encouraged * Knowledge of flowers * Familiarity with retail sales processes including POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and retail math * Excellent communication skills * Ability to work on your feet for extended periods while maintaining attention to detail * Passion for customer service with a friendly demeanor and proactive attitude Join us if you’re eager to blend your creative talents with retail expertise!
