**Front Desk \& Cemetery Records Coordinator** **Mt. Glenwood Memory Gardens** is hiring a dependable, professional, and tech\-comfortable **Front Desk \& Cemetery Records Coordinator** to support daily office operations. This is a front desk, customer care, and records\-support position. The right person will answer phones, respond to customer emails, greet families and visitors, assist with cemetery record lookups, and help keep the office organized and responsive. This is **not a sales position**. However, after 6\+ months of strong performance, there may be an opportunity to assist with part\-time sales\-related work for additional income. **Pay** Starting at **$20\.00 per hour** **Responsibilities** * Answer incoming phone calls professionally and take accurate messages when needed. * Respond to customer emails and basic office inquiries. * Greet families, visitors, vendors, and walk\-in guests. * Assist families with locating cemetery records and general cemetery information. * Use office systems to look up, update, scan, save, and organize documents. * Work with Google Drive, Outlook Mail, Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, Windows 11, and internal cemetery software. * Help maintain accurate records, files, and office documentation. * Follow written procedures and communicate clearly with management. * Handle sensitive family conversations with patience, respect, and professionalism. **Requirements** * Strong phone communication skills. * Comfortable working with families and customers in sensitive situations. * Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems. * Experience with Google Drive, Outlook Mail, Microsoft Office, Google Chrome, and Windows preferred. * Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to follow directions. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Must be willing and able to complete any required State of Illinois cemetery licensing steps after hire. * This position may require licensure as a **Cemetery Customer Service Employee** through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, depending on assigned duties. * Employment may be contingent on meeting applicable licensing and background\-check requirements at the appropriate stage of the hiring process. **What We’re Looking For** We are looking for someone who is calm, organized, respectful, and dependable.
