Full-Time Bereavement Counselor

Pay Range\- $23\.00\- $25\.00 per hour Holy Family Hospice is a unique, not\-for\-profit Catholic\-sponsored hospice, bringing peace and comfort to patients and families of all faiths and walks of life. Our services include in\-patient and community hospice. We belong to St. Augustine Health Ministries which provide long\-term care, assisted living, retirement living, hospice and homecare. Our Bereavement Counselor will be responsible for: providing individual and group counseling and contacting all of the bereaved we have served; facilitating support groups and assisting in presentations and memorial services; collaborating with our interdisciplinary team members; and providing outreach to hospice team members, other professionals and the community at large. Requirements include a master’s degree in counseling and/or Social Work, with current, valid OH licensure; and one to two years’ experience in counseling and/or social work. Grief/bereavement/hospice experience is required.
