We are a well\-established, family\-owned funeral home group with four locations throughout Central Maine, and we are seeking a dedicated, compassionate Funeral Apprentice to join our close\-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a meaningful career in funeral service while learning from experienced professionals in a supportive, family\-centered environment.

Position Highlights

· Serve families across four modern facilities, all located within a 25\-minute drive of one another

· Gain hands\-on experience in a professional, high\-volume funeral service setting

· Housing available

· Combined annual call volume of 450\+ calls

· Balanced on\-call rotation with paid on\-call and transfer stipends

· Work alongside an experienced and compassionate licensed funeral director team

· Be part of a funeral home group voted “Best Funeral Home” in Central Maine – 2025

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and committed to serving families with dignity, empathy, and attention to detail. Candidates interested in pursuing licensure in funeral service are encouraged to apply. In Maine, funeral practitioner trainees complete supervised training through an approved funeral establishment as part of the pathway toward licensure.
