Funeral Arranger

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Funeral Arranger to join our dedicated team. **Responsibilities**

* Coordinate funeral arrangements by working closely with grieving families, understanding their wishes, and translating them into detailed plans.
* Provide empathetic bereavement support, offering guidance and reassurance throughout the planning process.
* Manage administrative tasks including records management, documentation, and scheduling of funeral services.
* Assist with event coordination, ensuring all aspects of the funeral service - from venue setup to transportation - are executed smoothly.
* Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of caskets, floral arrangements, and other memorial items following safe lifting practices.
* Drive company vehicles as needed for transportation of remains or family visits, maintaining safe driving records.
* Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure seamless service delivery and uphold high standards of customer service.
* Support families with additional services such as memorial products sales or personalized tributes, contributing to a compassionate client experience.

**Experience**

* Previous experience in funeral & mortuary services or event planning is highly desirable, but not necessary. We will train.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
* Excellent client communication skills, demonstrating sensitivity and professionalism when working with grieving families.
* Experience in administrative roles involving records management and documentation processes.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices during physical tasks.
* Valid driving license with a clean driving record for on-call coverage and transportation duties.
* Knowledge of bereavement support techniques and customer service principles to provide compassionate assistance during difficult times.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour
