Funeral Assistant

The Harper Talasek Funeral Homes family (Temple, Belton, \& Killeen) is looking to add more Funeral Assistants to our team. The ideal candidate is an individual that is a people\-person that enjoys serving others. This position offers the opportunity to assist our team with funeral services and visitations. The Funeral Assistants work under direct supervision of Licensed Funeral Directors and Embalmers. **Responsibilities:** \- Assist the Funeral Director and Embalmer with funeral services. \- Assist the Funeral Director and Embalmer with visitations (after hours). **Qualifications:** \- High school diploma or GED required \- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record \- Ability to lift and move more than 100lbs with assistance \- Compassion, attention to detail, and professionalism \- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, bilingual preferred Job Types: Full\-time, Part\-time Pay: $10\.00 \- $13\.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Health insurance * Paid time off * Professional development assistance Application Question(s): * The hours available in this position are strictly dependent on the needs of the funeral homes.
