Funeral Associate / Greeter

This position would be ideal for students wanting to make some additional money, but needing flexibility in there schedule. At times when covering the office you would have time to work on your school work. This position would also be great for retired individuals. **Responsibilities** * Greet customers and visitors warmly as they enter our facility, establishing a positive first impression * Assist funeral directors in providing Celebration of Life and Funeral Services. * Cover the office and phones when full time staff is unavailable. * Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handlig customer calls or inquiries * Supervise the flow of foot traffic, ensuring safety protocols are followed and the environment remains welcoming for all guests **Skills/Requirements** * Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual environment if applicable * Basic clerical skills and computer use. * Prior supervising experience is a plus. * Ability to stand for extended periods of time and to move/lift heavy objects. * Customer service expertise with a focus on creating positive experiences. * Knowledge of funeral service operations is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential * Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills to address customer questions confidently * You must present and dress conservatively. (No visible tattoos, piercings other than a pair of earrings, natural colored hair, modest natural toned makeup, and appropriate dress ware) * A valid driver's license is a plus. * You must be available for some weekend work.
