Funeral Attendant / Assistant

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a compassionate Funeral Attendant / Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide respectful support during funeral services and assist families through one of life's most sensitive moments.

**Duties**

* Assist with the setup, preparation, and breakdown of funeral services, including arranging flowers, seating, and ceremonial items
* Handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when transporting caskets, equipment, or floral arrangements
* Drive funeral vehicles as needed, ensuring safe transportation of caskets and family members

**Experience**

* Previous experience in funeral \& mortuary services or related customer service roles preferred but not required.
* Demonstrated ability to work with families during sensitive times with empathy and professionalism
* Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for vehicle operation and transportation duties
* Ability to work on\-call shifts or flexible hours as needed to support funeral schedules

Pay: $20\.00 \- $30\.00 per hour
