Funeral Attendant

**Role Overview:**
This position supports funeral services by assisting with transportation, facility upkeep, and service coordination under the supervision of a licensed Funeral Director.


**Key Responsibilities**

* Maintain cleanliness of the funeral home (dusting, vacuuming, cleaning).
* Assist during funeral services and visitations, including greeting visitors, coordinating pallbearers, and managing transport and parking.
* Transport loved ones with care and professionalism.
* Support legal and administrative tasks related to funeral arrangements.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications & Skills**

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* At least 1 year of experience in client relations, facilities maintenance, or related fields.
* Desire to pursue a career in mortuary science or end-of-life planning.
* Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and possess a valid driver’s license.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
* Strong focus and attention, with capability to work effectively in a team.
* Flexibility to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends.
