Funeral Director / Arranger

* PA Valid Driver's License
* Sanders Mortuary is hiring a licensed PA Funeral Director or Apprentice to join our team of professionals

* Job Type: Full-time attractive salary with full benefits, incentives and scheduled time off

* We are looking for an individual with arrangement experience, but not necessary
* Meets/observes arrangements with client families to listen and arrange personalized memorial services, pre-planned funeral services, headstone and monument designs
* Ensures all files and paperwork are timely and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations
* Conducts and attends services as needed
* Works on-call/first call, as needed
* Has knowledge of embalming, and preparation of deceased

* Utilizes systems to review merchandise options, enter contracts and complete necessary forms including insurance processing with documentation of items completed
* Directs, trains and educates part time funeral assistant employees appropriately to ensure they meet a high standard of professionalism and service level
* Will want to be part of team environment
* Be timely, creative, and be able to keep up with details
* Social skills and people skills, communication, and effective listening skills are a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Education:

* High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

* Funeral Director License (Preferred)
