**Duties**

* Support funeral directors in planning and coordinating funeral services, including logistical arrangements and event planning
* Assist with client communication, offering empathetic support and guidance to grieving families
* Handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when preparing caskets, equipment, or floral arrangements
* Drive funeral vehicles as needed, ensuring safe transportation of remains and family members
* Manage records and documentation related to funeral services, including records management and administrative tasks
* Provide bereavement support by listening compassionately and offering resources to families during their time of loss
* Participate in on-call coverage to respond promptly to emergency requests or last-minute arrangements

**Requirements**

* Genuine interest in funeral & mortuary services with a desire to learn and grow within the industry
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Excellent customer service and client communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely following proper lifting practices
* Valid driving license with a clean driving record for vehicle transportation duties
* Previous administrative experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
* Willingness to participate in on-call shifts and work flexible hours as needed
* Knowledge of or interest in event coordination, sales, or event planning is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
