**Funeral Director \- Office Operations Manager**

Journey Cremations provides direct cremation services to the public and funeral homes needing cremations services.
Our focus is on providing full services while creating great value and delivering excellent customer service.
**Position Summary**
The Funeral Director \- Operations/Customer Service Manager will handle operational items on a daily basis at our Lake Zurich, IL facility as well as interact with our customers as needed via phone and email. Our goal is to maintain operational excellence and efficiency and exceed customer expectations.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
§ Communicate with Families regarding our services, status and payments
§ Receive incoming phone calls
§ Send DocuSign Forms to families
§ Enter Data Online into the Illinois Vital Records System
§ Order Death Certificates from County Governments
§ Communicate with Doctor’s Offices
§ Create Goods \& Services Invoices
§ Enter Information into QuickBooks
§ Send data to Accountant as needed
§ Create Shipping Labels On line
§ Pack Items for shipment
§ Deliver Packages to PO
§ Track Inventory \& Order Supplies
§ Order Urns
§ Maintain Customer Files
§ Answers emails
§ Send Marketing material as needed
There will be no embalmings
**Qualification and Skills**
Funeral Director's License
§ Friendly and Outgoing Personality
§ Excellent Communications Skills
§ Good Computer Skills including MS Word/Outlook/Excel
§ We will train you on the industry software and office procedures
§ Self\-Directed
§ Good Organization Skills
**Hours**
§ Monday \-Friday
§ 9am – 4PM
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: From $50,000\.00 per year
