**Duties**

* Coordinate and oversee funeral arrangements, ensuring all services run smoothly from start to finish
* Provide empathetic bereavement support and guidance to grieving families throughout the process
* Manage heavy lifting and manual handling of caskets, floral arrangements, and equipment following safe lifting practices
* Maintain accurate records of client information, service details, and records management protocols
* Assist with event planning and execution for funerals, memorials, and related ceremonies
* Drive funeral vehicles as needed for transportation of remains or family members, adhering to all safety regulations
* Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, client communication, and documentation to streamline daily operations
* Offer on\-call coverage to respond promptly to urgent needs or last\-minute service requests

**Requirements**

* Proven experience in funeral \& mortuary services or related event coordination roles
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in records management and client communication
* Ability to provide exceptional customer service with compassion and professionalism
* Experience in working with families during sensitive times; excellent interpersonal skills are essential
* Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for vehicle transportation duties
* Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; knowledge of safe lifting practices is required
* Flexibility to provide on\-call coverage outside regular hours as needed
* Administrative experience with scheduling, documentation, and record keeping is highly desirable

Pay: From $14\.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40\.0 – 50\.0 per week
