We are adding part\-time driver positions to our driving crew to handle more of the overnight and weekend slots. **Note up front:** Are you experienced in the funeral profession and the workings of funeral homes and crematories? * Only candidates serious about the funeral profession will be considered. We are looking for actual funeral professionals and those who have the calling. * Please, do not apply if you are simply looking for an interesting new pursuit or a career change. **Duties:** You will act as the first in\-person, customer service representative of our funeral home for the families we serve. You will transport families' deceased loved ones from points throughout Maryland to the funeral home. You may occasionally be called upon to help the front office with other customer service and case management duties. Heavy lifting and driving are important parts of the job. You should be familiar with the duties and removal locations like hospitals, hospices and nursing homes. We are looking for someone mature, empathetic, experienced and skilled... who can communicate well with grieving families. You must have a clear grasp of common sense and a serious demeanor. Stellar communication and driving skills are a must. And above all, you must have the fortitude to handle working around the deceased. Competitive starting salary.
