Part-Time Funeral Service Assistant

Amalla Funeral Home is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and professional Part-Time Funeral Service Assistant to assist our staff during visitations, funeral services, and other scheduled services.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with setup and preparation for visitations and funeral services
* Greet families and guests and provide directions as needed
* Assist with seating and maintaining an organized chapel
* Help distribute memorial folders and service materials
* Assist funeral directors and staff throughout services
* Help with flowers and light service-related setup
* Maintain a professional, respectful, and compassionate presence around families
* Assist with cleanup and resetting the chapel following services

Requirements:

* Must be fluent in both English and Spanish
* Must have a valid driver’s license
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Dependable and punctual
* Compassionate and comfortable working around grieving families
* Able to follow directions and work well as part of a team
* Must be available as needed based on our service schedule
* Some evening and weekend availability may be required
