Funeral Service Assistant, part-time

**Summary:** We’re seeking an upbeat, compassionate part\-time Service Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure seamless and respectful funeral services by providing transportation support, greeting and assisting guests, and helping with service coordination. You may also assist with transporting casketed deceased when needed. **Key Responsibilities:** * Drive limousines, service cars, and other company vehicles for funeral services. * Greet, assist, and provide support to families and guests attending services. * Organize and manage vehicle line\-ups for funeral processions. * Assist with the transportation of casketed deceased as required. * Maintain a professional and respectful presence at all times. **Required Skills/Abilities:** * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. * Ability to stand for extended periods. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. * Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor. **Required Education \& Experience:** * Valid driver’s license. * Prior customer service or transportation experience is helpful but not required. **Work Environment:** * Work involves both indoor and outdoor settings, including exposure to various weather conditions. * Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting. * Professional, respectful environment focused on supporting families during sensitive moments. **Disclaimer:** The above information on this job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by the employee with this qualification.
