Responsibilities

* Assist families with bereavement support, offering compassionate guidance throughout the funeral process
* Work closely with families who have lost a loved one with diplomacy and understanding
* Prepare and transport deceased individuals with careful adherence to safe lifting practices and manual handling protocols
* Drive funeral vehicles safely to transport clients and staff as needed, maintaining excellent driving records
* Coordinate funeral events, including setup, logistics, and ensuring all arrangements align with family wishes
* Manage administrative tasks such as records management, scheduling, and documentation of funeral services
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure clear understanding of services and procedures
* Support heavy lifting requirements during setup or transportation while following safety standards for manual handling and heavy liftingExperience
* Previous experience in funeral \& mortuary services or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
* Excellent customer service skills with a caring approach when working with grieving families
* Ability to work after hours coverage, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
* Administrative experience in records management or client communication enhances effectiveness in this role

Pay: $18\.50 \- $20\.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40\.0 per week
