Funeral Service Attendant

**Duties**

* Prepare funeral venues by setting up chairs, floral arrangements, and ceremonial items to create a respectful environment.
* Assist families with logistical needs, including guiding them through the procession and ceremony arrangements.
* Support funeral directors by coordinating event timelines and ensuring all details are executed seamlessly.
* Provide compassionate bereavement support by listening empathetically and offering comfort to grieving family members.
* Handle heavy lifting of caskets, floral displays, and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Manage event planning tasks such as overseeing venue cleanliness.

**Qualifications**

* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and comfortably, including moving caskets and equipment.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to supporting grieving families.
* Experience or training in funeral directing or event planning is a must.
* Knowledge of bereavement support practices to provide empathetic assistance during difficult times.
* Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour
