At Harrell Funeral Home, we believe a funeral or memorial service is about more than what happens during the ceremony. It is about the people who gather, the stories they share, and the impact one life has had on others.

We are looking for a warm, outgoing, compassionate person to join our team as a Funeral Service Professional. This position helps create an exceptional experience for families and guests by making people feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.

An important part of this role is connecting with guests and gathering stories. Every person attending a service has a connection to the person being honored. You may hear a funny story, a meaningful memory, or how that person made a difference in someone's life. By asking thoughtful questions and listening well, you can help capture meaningful memories to preserve and share with the family.

**What You Will Do**

* Warmly welcome guests attending visitations, funerals, memorial services, and other gatherings.
* Engage guests in genuine conversation and invite them to share memories about the person being honored.
* Help capture meaningful stories that can be preserved and shared with the family.
* Anticipate guest needs and provide compassionate assistance throughout the service.
* Support Funeral Directors with all service preparations and execution.
* Assist with programs, flowers, receptions, parking, guest flow, and other service details.
* Answer questions and connect guests with the appropriate team member when needed.
* Help ensure every service reflects Harrell Funeral Home's standard of exceptional care.

* Available to work daytime, evening, and occasional weekend services as scheduled.
* Able to safely operate funeral home vehicles when required.
