General Laborer - Stone Valley

**Job Summary**

The General Laborer at Stone Valley is a hands-on position responsible for supporting various aspects of precast concrete production, monument installation, cemetery repairs, and burial services. This role requires physical work and attention to detail, contributing to the successful completion of projects in a respectful and efficient manner. Higher pay may be available for qualified CDL drivers. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

**Duties**

* Assist with the production of precast concrete components, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
* Support monument installation processes, including handling and positioning stones accurately.
* Perform cemetery repairs and maintenance to uphold the integrity and appearance of burial sites.
* Aid in burial services by preparing materials, assisting with setup, and ensuring smooth operations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
* Operate basic tools and equipment as needed for various tasks.
* Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

**Requirements**

* Valid NYS driver's license - For higher pay opportunities, valid CDL driver’s license and relevant driving experience are preferred.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
* Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Prior experience in construction, masonry, or related fields is a plus but not required.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
