Genetic Counselor, Cardiac
Job Description
**Join a dynamic team as a Genetic Counselor within a leading healthcare organization, providing genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up care for patients in a specialized heart institute.**
**Key Responsibilities Include**
* Supporting referring providers and clinical teams with genetic services
* Offering genetics education and outreach initiatives
* Engaging in genetics program activities to enhance patient care
**Qualifications**
* Master's Degree in Genetic Counseling or equivalent from an ABGC or ABMG accredited program
* At least 1 year of genetic counseling experience; cardiology or clinical genetics experience preferred
* Proficiency with Epic and Progeny software preferred
* Board Certification in Genetic Counseling from ABGC and Georgia state licensure required upon hire
