If you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you:* Master’s degree in counseling or related field, with documented training in grief, loss, and bereavement
* 2\+ years of counseling and bereavement experience
* Eligible or certified in Thanatology (CT/FT), preferred
* Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems
* Passion for compassionate care and alignment with our values and mission
**Responsibilities:*** Provide compassionate, developmentally appropriate counseling and psychoeducation in grief, loss, and bereavement to support patients, families, and community members through anticipatory and post\-death grief processes.
* Develop and implement individualized bereavement care plans using evidence\-based practices, facilitating support through individual, family, and group sessions (in\-person, virtual, or telephonic).
* Collaborate across departments and community partners to deliver grief\-related programming, workshops, memorial services, and educational materials.
* Document services accurately in EMR systems and track psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual changes to ensure consistent, high\-quality care and follow\-up.
* Support team development by mentoring interns, leading educational initiatives, and participating in committees, crisis support, and special projects to strengthen grief care across the continuum.
